The Team:

* Multipurpose facility with 24 hour emergency care, 5 sub‑acute beds, 9 residential aged care beds, community nursing, day centre as well as visiting medical specialists and allied health.

The Role:

You will assist residents and patients with personal care and activities of daily living at the Flinders Island Multipurpose Centre and work alongside our nursing and non‑nursing team members to provide quality health care to aged‑care residents and the wider Flinders Island community.


You will need:

* Holds or is working towards a Certificate III in Aged Care
* Experience working in health care and with elderly people
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, casual – position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full‑time, part‑time, and casual vacancies.


Salary:

$63,110 to $66,049 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022


Salary Packaging:

You'll have access to a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year plus other benefits if eligible.


Allowances:

Regional Allowances

* District Allowances of up to $4,618 per annum for a family
