Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians – BP Kwinana Terminal
UGL is seeking experienced Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians to join our established team at BP Kwinana Terminal. These are permanent positions.
About the Role
* Working Hours: Monday-Friday, with optional weekend work available.
* Location: BP Kwinana Terminal.
Mandatory Requirements
* Current, valid WA Electrical Worker's License.
* Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control (UEE31220 Cert III/IV).
* Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas (EEHA).
* Current LVR/CPR certification.
* Construction Card, along with a current and valid driver's license.
* Nationally accredited Working at Heights (WAH) certification.
Desirable Attributes
* Nationally accredited Confined Spaces Entry (CSE) certification.
* HRL – EWP certification.
* Brownfields project experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation of cable containment, cabling and electrical equipment.
* Installation of instrumentation & communication systems.
* Upgrading of current electrical & instrumentation systems.
* Statutory testing of electrical & instrumentation systems.
* Demolition & removal of redundant electrical equipment.Read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
* Carry out scheduled testing of electrical equipment and installations.
