About us:
Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (CQMHAODS): provides specialist mental health, substance and alcohol related care to residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana areas with services located in each area. Rockhampton is the principal service centre and as such provides the administration of the
Mental Health Act, 2016,
and is the location of the acute adult inpatient facilities. In addition there is an Adult Step Up Step Down facility located in Gladstone and an Adult Community Care Unit located in Rockhampton.
About the role:
* Provide discipline specific and generalist clinical services utilising a range of modalities relevant to adult mental health services as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
* Contribute to the delivery of clinical mental health services in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders
* Provision of a sound level of clinical services (which includes crisis intervention treatment, provision of psychotherapy, case management, consultation, health promotion, early identification/intervention, liaison and education) in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
* Provide input in the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the adult mental health clinical services.
* Work cooperatively and effectively within the team, with patients / clients and external service providers to ensure continuity of care.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
* Occupational Therapy
* Psychology
* Social Work
A relevant postgraduate qualification is highly desirable for this position.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $ $58.59 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
