About the Role
BGIS is seeking a Gym Attendant / Lifeguardto join our team at Holsworthy. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons, maintaining a clean and welcoming fitness environment, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor pool activities and respond to emergencies as a qualified lifeguard.
* Ensure the gym and pool facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
* Provide excellent customer service and assist patrons with equipment and general inquiries.
* Enforce safety regulations and facility rules.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* First Aid and Pool Lifeguard qualifications (essential).:
* Strong swimming abilitywith demonstrated lifeguard experience.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive and safety-focused mindset.
* Australian Citizenship (mandatory).
