About the Role
As the Service Delivery Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operational performance of our minibus services. You’ll lead drivers, coordinate fleet operations, manage service delivery outcomes, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced transport environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
* Oversee daily service delivery across metro and regional operations
* Ensure all services run safely, efficiently, and on time
* Coordinate fleet allocation, maintenance, and vehicle presentation
* Manage disruptions, incidents, and service issuesMonitor KPIs including on‑time running, cancellations, and fleet availability
Leadership & Workforce Management
* Lead, mentor, and support drivers and operational staff
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training
* Ensure rosters are compliant, fair, and efficient
* Drive performance management and staff development
Compliance & Safety
* Ensure adherence to all transport legislation and safety standards
* Conduct audits on driver behaviour, vehicles, and documentation
* Support incident investigations and corrective actions
* Promote a strong, proactive safety culture
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
* Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Manage customer feedback, complaints, and service improvements
* Represent the business in stakeholder and community engagements
Continuous Improvement
* Identify and implement improvements in service delivery and efficiency
* Support operational planning and system enhancements
* Contribute to fleet and service development initiatives
About You
You are a confident leader with strong operational experience and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
Skills & Experience
* Background in transport, logistics, or operational management (bus industry highly regarded)
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
* Knowledge of transport compliance (e.g. Passenger Transport Act, fatigue management)
* Experience in scheduling, fleet coordination, and service delivery
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems
