ASSISTANT MANAGER, SPRING BAY, TASMANIA

About Us

Marine Culture is a thriving privately owned business that has been producing, selling and marketing premium quality oysters since 1989. We are dedicated to sustainable aquaculture and high-quality seafood production.

We seek a highly motivated and organised individual with a hands-on approach to fill a new role as an Assistant Manager to support our current team members at our oyster farm located at Spring Bay, Tasmania. Extensive knowledge of the oyster industry with management experience is essential to be considered for this position.

A minimum of 1-2 years of management experience is required for this position.

Our Spring Bay lease is located in a peaceful bay. Just imagine starting your workday with the gentle lapping of waves, the crisp sea breeze on your face, and the breathtaking scenery of Tasmania's East Coast surrounding you. Working at this location means immersing yourself in one of the most picturesque and unspoiled coastal environments in Australia.

Nestled along the stunning shores of Great Oyster Bay, Spring Bay is a place where the clear blue waters meet rolling green hills, creating a peaceful and inspiring setting. The estuary is rich with marine life, and the changing tides bring a new rhythm to each day. Whether it's the golden glow of sunrise over the water or the reflection of the mountains in the still afternoon, the natural beauty of this location will make every workday a pleasure.

Working in this pristine environment however isn't just about the view - it's about connecting with nature, enjoying fresh sea air, and being part of a sustainable industry that thrives in harmony with the landscape. If you love working outdoors and appreciate the beauty of coastal Tasmania, this is an opportunity to experience it every day while being part of a dedicated and passionate team.
