What You'll Be Doing

This is a high-impact, hybrid business development role focused on winning new business and growing wallet share across contractor and builder segments. You'll drive contractor acquisition and spend growth, secure and influence builder agreements, and actively prospect across job sites and cold outreach. Building strong relationships across your territory, you'll negotiate commercial outcomes, manage agreements, and influence product selection throughout the build lifecycle – all while delivering sales growth, expanding market share, and unlocking cross‐sell opportunities across the Dulux portfolio.

What We're Looking for

  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role (ideally trade-facing)
  • Robust ability to win new business and grow accounts
  • Confident prospecting skills, including face‐to‐face and cold outreach
  • Experience managing builder relationships or contracts (highly regarded)
  • Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions
  • Self‐motivated, resilient and results‐driven
  • Strong communication and relationship‐building capability
  • Paints/coatings or construction industry exposure advantageous but not essential
