Overview

Nursing Director – Community & Allied Health: lead community nursing and midwifery services within FUNLHN. Report to senior executive leadership; accountable for governance, practice standards and the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services that support strong patient and community outcomes. Responsibilities

Lead the development and evaluation of contemporary models of care; support workforce planning and performance; drive service improvement initiatives. Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement policy, manage projects and respond to emerging service needs; foster a patient-centred culture and strong multidisciplinary collaboration. Contribute to education, research and innovation; support a skilled, engaged workforce and continuous improvement across the service. About You (Qualifications)

Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. At least 5 years post-registration experience; experience as a leader or manager in the health care industry. Experience in leading teams; experience leading services through times of extensive change. Experience applying contemporary management processes and practices in a health care setting; experience leading quality improvement initiatives. Experience working with First Nations consumers. Allied and Community Health; based in Port Augusta and Whyalla with outreach clinics in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Marree, and Leigh Creek. We provide centre-based, in-home, and community-based services for people of all ages. Additional Information
