Pipeline Technology Services began in the 1990's and was one of the first businesses of its kind in Australia, undertaking maintenance of pipeline infrastructure, high pressure cleaning of GPTs, pump stations and SEPs, and performing locating of underground services, CCTV inspections, and other related works utilising the latest equipment available anywhere in the world. Over its 30-year history Pipeline Technology Services has worked for a wide range of clients including state and local councils, builders, consultants, and commercial businesses on both project and contract basis, as well as ad-hoc and emergency works.
Positions available:
We are seeking experienced personnel to join our team as CCTV Operators for immediate start.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating CCTV equipment to conduct inspections of underground stormwater and sewer infrastructure in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate CCTV inspection systems to assess the condition of stormwater and sewer pipelines
* Perform pre- and post-construction CCTV inspections in line with WSA 05 and other relevant standards
* Identify and record defects, blockages, or structural issues in underground assets
* Prepare accurate inspection reports, logs, and footage for submission to clients and project managers
* Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of CCTV inspection equipment
* Work closely with supervisors, civil crews, and asset owners to plan and execute inspection programs
* Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety, ensuring compliance with all procedures and site requirements
Requirements:
* Previous experience operating CCTV pipeline inspection equipment in civil or utility projects (essential)
* Current Driver's Licence (MR/HR preferred)
* White Card (Construction Induction) (essential)
* Confined Space Entry certification (essential or willingness to obtain)
* Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
* Basic computer skills for report generation and data entry
* Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in varying site conditions
* Our service operations are 24/7 every day of the year so the applicants must be flexible to start early, work late and perform call outs after hours.
* Ability to travel and work in regional areas
