About the Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop direct reports, fostering their growth, succession, and skill development.
* Motivate teams to deliver exceptional performance and engagement, driving results-oriented outcomes.
* Develop strategic plans annually to propel business growth within the region, aligning with organizational objectives.
* Monitor service delivery through report analysis and collaboration with Business Banking Managers to enhance the customer experience.
* As a representative of the organization, build relationships, attend events, and identify opportunities for referrals and business expansion that align with company goals.
* Manage regional expenses effectively, ensuring alignment with budgetary expectations.
About Your Qualifications
* A minimum of 10 years of commercial banking experience, coupled with a deep understanding of SME challenges and banking needs, as well as strong commercial credit knowledge up to $15m.
* A proven ability to lead teams of relationship managers within a collaborative, inclusive, and performance-driven culture.
* Experience in managing operational and financial risk, as well as people-related matters, including workforce management across multiple locations.
* External business development and coaching skills, with a focus on small business owner engagement, professional services referrers, and broker groups.
* Strategic planning capabilities and delivery of business-to-business sales and marketing strategies.
