About the role
The Office of the Public Advocate promotes and protects the rights of adults with decision-making disabilities to reduce their risk of neglect, exploitation and abuse through the provision of its statutory services in accordance with the functions of the Public Advocate under Guardianship and Administration Act 1990 (the Act).
As a Senior Guardian you will manage and lead a team of guardians and assist in the prioritisation and allocation of work, including supporting the Managers Guardianship with policy and process development. You will take on the management of highly sensitive and complex cases and make personal and lifestyle decisions on behalf of represented persons and advocate on their behalf.
