About The Role
Due to sustained growth we are seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer looking to take the next step in their career.
We are looking for someone with experience working on medium to high-rise buildings.
You will lead structural design and documentation from concept design to delivery of projects, resolve complex engineering problems, be a primary contact for clients, architects and project stakeholders and mentor and support a team of junior Engineers.
This position could be based out of its Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Brisbane offices.
About The Candidate
Ideally you will have:
* At least 5-8 years of structural design engineering experience, with an Engineering Consultancy with a significant amount of this locally
* Ability to work on projects with minimal supervision but under direction
* Client facing skills, stakeholder engagement and management skills including coordinating with clients and knowing when to push back
* Proficiency in structural design software, such as ETABS, RAM Concept, Space Gass, RAPT.
* Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
* Demonstrated understanding of Engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures and construction techniques
