Corporate Tax Expert Role Overview
The Corporate Tax Manager plays a key role in managing tax operations, reporting directly into the Associate Director of Tax. This individual is responsible for managing corporate tax compliance and reporting, preparing Corporation Tax returns, and collaborating with finance and tax teams on local and US GAAP tax accounting.
* Lead UK corporate tax compliance and reporting through in-house and outsourced providers to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Prepare comprehensive Corporation Tax returns and calculations including RDEC, Patent Box, and share-based payments to meet regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate closely with finance and tax teams to ensure alignment on local and US GAAP tax accounting principles and practices.
* Support strategic projects involving tax structuring, transfer pricing, and expansion into new jurisdictions to drive business growth.
* Monitor potential earnings risks and advise on business expansion from a tax perspective to ensure long-term sustainability.
* Partner across functions to ensure accuracy of tax data and documentation, driving business success through informed decision-making.
