About the role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to lead all procurement and inventory outcomes across the Business. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, this senior leadership role is responsible for setting and executing the group‐wide procurement strategy, ensuring disciplined capital deployment, and delivering strong commercial and working capital outcomes.
This role will suit a commercially astute procurement leader who is comfortable operating at executive level while driving practical, measurable results across purchasing, inventory and supplier performance.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and execute a consolidated, group‐wide procurement strategy across the Business
* Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand demand and align procurement activity
* Manage procurement across hardware, consumables, services, logistics and operational spend, including transactional, tender and project‐based purchasing
* Lead supplier negotiations across pricing, payment terms, rebates, long‐term incentives and commercial frameworks
* Develop and manage supplier strategies, including warranties, claims and local servicing arrangements
* Own inventory performance, including stock turns, ageing stock, slow‐moving and obsolete inventory (SLOBs), and obsolescence prevention
* Coordinate demand forecasting with Sales and Finance to ensure purchasing aligns with approved capital allocation
* Establish and maintain purchasing guardrails, approval thresholds and commercial governance
* Provide clear, insightful reporting to the CEO and CFO on procurement performance, risks and opportunities
* Support department leaders through structured procurement processes, with direct involvement as required
About you
You are a senior procurement leader with a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to deliver results in complex, multi‐entity environments. You bring a disciplined, outcomes‐focused approach and are comfortable operating at executive level.
You will be:
* A commercially astute procurement professional with executive‐level credibility
* Confident setting clear frameworks, guardrails and expectations
* Comfortable holding internal stakeholders and suppliers accountable
* Experienced working in high‐growth, dynamic organisations
* Data‐driven in your approach to purchasing, inventory and working capital
* Collaborative, with the ability to influence across senior leadership teams
* Senior procurement leadership experience in a group or multi‐entity environment
* Demonstrated success negotiating supplier pricing, rebates, payment terms and long‐term incentives
* Strong inventory management and working capital optimisation experience
* Proven ability to establish procurement governance, approval frameworks and purchasing controls
* Excellent written communication and reporting skills
* Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline (highly regarded)
* Formal training in commercial negotiation, contract management or inventory and working capital management (desirable)
