What you'll be doing
In this rewarding caseload midwifery role, you will provide evidence-based, woman-centred care across the full maternity journey, including community and homebirth settings.
Within this role you will:
* Manage a caseload delivering antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
* Provide on-call support for labour and birth in hospital or at home.
* Deliver education, health promotion and support to women and families.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community services.

Essential Requirements
* Qualification: Midwifery
* Registration: Current and valid registration as a Registered Midwife ( Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Selection Criteria
* Current and valid registration as a Registered Midwife (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Demonstrated experience and clinical skills as a Midwife.
* Commitment to developing advanced clinical skills and maintaining ongoing mandatory training.
* Available to work flexible hours with availability to be on call.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of continuity of career/primary health care models of Midwifery care in addition to an explicit understanding of strengths-based philosophy.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a member of the multidisciplinary team with demonstrated effective teamwork and communication skills and demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
* Current Driver's License valid in Australia and willing to use for work purposes.
