Finance Administrator – Anglesea Golf Club
Anglesea Golf Club, located on Victoria's Surf Coast, is a thriving member-based club with iconic kangaroo tours, strong community engagement, and exciting future growth plans.
Boasting approximately 800 golfing members and 350 social members, the Anglesea Golf club features an outstanding 18-hole golf course, 3 recently built town houses for accommodation, driving range, mini golf, internationally acclaimed kangaroo tours, and a licensed clubhouse with facilities including a bar, bistro and gaming operations with 34 EGMs. (The Pro Shop, mini golf and Bistro are currently operated by third parties)
We are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to oversee our financial operations and support the General Manager and Board. About the Role
This is a hands-on role, where you will manage the Club's accounting and compliance functions
Responsibilities include:
* Preparation of annual statutory financial reports and liaison with auditors
* Monthly management and Board reporting with analysis and insights
* Budgeting, forecasting,
* Payroll processing, BAS, superannuation, and compliance with Awards
* Accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and asset register maintenance
* Support for HR, contracts, and the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020 for a small team
* Oversight of financial systems (MYOB, WageEasy, MiClub, Swiftpos)
* Compliance and reporting for gaming (VGCCC), bar, and hospitality revenues
* Undertake other duties as required to support the role and organisation.
What We're Looking For
* CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years' senior finance experience
* Strong understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear advice to management and the Board
* Knowledge of the club, hospitality, or gaming sector is highly regarded
