You’ll lead by example, working alongside your team to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is excited by the opportunity to help launch a first-of-its-kind hotel. You’ll support daily operations, coach and mentor team members, and contribute to a positive team culture built on care, connection, and pride in every detail.From setting up the operation pre-opening to supporting service delivery each day, you’ll be central to how our guests experience Caption by Hyatt—and how our team supports one another along the way.Some Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the daily housekeeping operation to ensure rooms and public areas are consistently clean, safe, and on-brandLead by example, performing inspections, assigning tasks, and coaching the team to meet both quality and productivity targetsRespond to guest feedback and requests with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine care for peopleSupport pre-opening activities, including OS&E setup, training, systems implementation, and onboarding of new team membersContribute to a positive, inclusive culture where every team member feels valued and empoweredPartner across departments—especially with Front Office, Engineering, and Talk Shop—to ensure seamless guest serviceMonitor supplies, manage stock levels, and help control costs in line with budget and sustainability practicesDrive wellbeing and safety culture, ensuring all team members are trained and WHS compliantWhat You Will Bring To The RoleYou’ll bring experience in a similar role, along with a calm, proactive, and supportive leadership style.
