At JFK Custom Homes, we're a boutique residential builder focused on quality over quantity. We build architecturally designed homes that are thoughtfully tailored to each client, and we take on a limited number of builds each year to make sure every detail gets the attention it deserves.
Our team is small, experienced, and hands-on. We're known for our high standards, strong client relationships, and commitment to doing things the right way — even when it's the harder way.
The opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Site Supervisor, or someone ready to step into that level, to take the lead on a range of high-end custom homes across Perth. If you've worked on detailed residential builds and are looking for more ownership, influence, and the chance to help shape a growing business — this could be the opportunity for you.
You'll be overseeing several homes at a time — mostly architecturally designed and often valued upwards of $1M, though not exclusively — and you'll play a key role in how those projects are delivered. From managing trades and suppliers to quality control, client liaison and refining internal processes — this is a role with real variety and impact.
Our builds are spread across Perth — including the hills and northern suburbs — so some travel is part of the role. For the right person, the variety and scenery are all part of what makes it interesting.
What you'll be doing
Managing multiple custom residential home builds simultaneously
Scheduling and coordinating trades, suppliers and deliveries
Conducting site inspections and maintaining a high standard of quality control
Managing OH&S and site compliance
Liaising with clients, consultants, certifiers and council reps
Supporting the team with feedback on scheduling, trade resourcing, and supplier improvements
Helping consolidate our trade base — existing relationships welcome
Who we're looking for
You're someone who takes ownership of your sites and leads from the front. You don't just get the job done — you get it done well, and you take pride in the result. You're equally comfortable managing people, solving problems, and maintaining standards, and you understand the detail and care that goes into a custom residential build.
Whether you're already in a senior role or looking to step into one, this is a great opportunity to make the role your own and have a real impact on the way things are run.
What you'll need
Solid experience supervising custom residential construction (project or architectural, ideally $800k+)
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specs, and build documentation
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Confident communication and leadership skills — with both trades and clients
A good understanding of WA building codes, OH&S, and general site compliance
Strong time management and ability to manage multiple builds across different areas
A current WA Driver's Licence and White Card
You've got trades or suppliers you already trust and would like to work with again
You enjoy mentoring apprentices or junior site staff
You've worked in smaller or boutique construction businesses before
You're comfortable using basic site management software or digital scheduling tools
Why JFK?
We're a close-knit team who believe in doing great work and enjoying the process. We're not a volume builder, and we don't want to be. Instead, we put our energy into doing fewer projects — but doing them better.
