The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity for someone ready to turn field experience into real influence. This role puts your experience front and centre. You'll help shape and implement a new system that simplifies how technicians book tool maintenance and calibration, while also managing how tools are issued, maintained, and recovered across City. From onboarding new technicians to working with suppliers on better tooling solutions, this role gives you the opportunity to influence how City supports its technicians every day.
Reporting to the General Manager – Asset Management, you'll oversee full lifecycle of technician tools and system rollout.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop processes to manage procurement, warehousing, distribution & collection of tech tools.
* Proactively identifying ways to reduce tool faults, improve performance, and support efficient field operations.
* Ensure timely tool maintenance and calibration to maintain compliance, reduce risk, and support safe field operations.
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to secure endorsement and successfully implement initiatives.
* Establish reporting and asset governance standards, maintaining accurate documentation and actionable insights.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience working as a technician, with a strong understanding of tools, field operations, and maintenance requirements.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power BI).
