Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Technician
This role involves assisting the equipment team in planned servicing, qualification and calibration activities of laboratory equipment to support operations.
* Maintenance and Qualification: Assist the equipment team in planned maintenance, qualification and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Reactive Repairs: Carry out and/or schedule reactive repairs and qualification to lab equipment raised through the helpdesk. Resolve issues promptly to minimize equipment downtime.
* Technical Knowledge: Develop broad technical knowledge on a range of equipment including temperature-controlled environments.
Liaise with external suppliers to arrange for equipment dispatch for inspection and maintenance. Respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely manner ensuring regular communication is maintained with operations teams.
Ensure all paperwork relating to equipment activities is completed accurately and promptly for review by lab and quality teams.
