**Financial Services Administrator Role**
The role of Financial Services Administrator involves providing exceptional financial support to a roofing company. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to demonstrate proficiency and experience in accounting systems.
The key responsibilities include:
* Assist with payroll from start to finish
* All aspects of accounts receivable and payable - invoice entry, payment processing
* Support with BAS, payroll tax, and superannuation reporting and lodging
* Keep records up-to-date across multiple entities
* Support HR functions as required
* Daily bank reconciliation
* Process payments, including EFTPOS credit card transactions
* Manage outstanding collections and maintain accurate debtor control for cash flow and trade credit terms
* Provide excellent customer service by answering phones and responding to internal and external queries
* Offer general business and administrative support as needed
* Set up new employees and contracts
Monthly Management Reports
The ideal candidate will prepare and provide accurate monthly management reports, including:
* Accurate product costing through data capture, analysis, and interpretation to enable sound business decisions for product pricing, margins, and business profitability
* Account reconciliations
* Verification and processing of credit applications
* Ongoing management of debtor and creditor records
* Preparation of journal entries and maintenance of the general ledger
* Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Minimum five years' experience in a similar role or relevant tertiary qualifications with three years' experience
* Ability to communicate effectively with people across the business
* Ability to use logic and reason to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
* Strong computer skills in Microsoft office applications, particularly Excel
* Experience with Reckon and Xero accounting systems
* Ability to work autonomously, under pressure, and in a team environment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Confident, can-do attitude
