We are seeking a skilled practitioner to join our team in delivering high-quality support services to vulnerable populations.
The successful candidate will have a strong focus on transforming the futures of children, young people, families, and adults by providing evidence-based interventions and building protective factors.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering home-based and community-based support services to marginalized, minority, and hard-to-reach children, young people, and their families.
* Collaborating with children, young people, and families to develop intervention goals and plans focused on reducing identified risks and promoting positive outcomes.
* Working effectively with government agencies, including the Department of Families, Fairness, and Housing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral sciences at degree level or diploma level with substantial experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
* Cultural sensitivity and the ability to effectively engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families.
Desirable Post-Graduate Qualifications Include Family Therapy, Psychology, or Counseling.
