Sales Manager – Construction Solutions
Location: Queensland (QLD)
Reporting To: General Manager – Sales and Business Development
Responsibilities
* Develop a Queensland business development strategy to identify growth areas, value‐add solutions, and current market segments for new prospects in the reinforcing steel market.
* Identify opportunities to drive a BIM strategy using various sources including customers and report on lead progress.
* Promote ADDA Bureau services and implement ADDA (Advanced Detailing & Design Application) business development initiatives that support Construction Solutions revenue and profit objectives.
* Identify and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients to promote Ausreo construction solutions offering and ADDA Dfma services to generate sales.
* Provide leadership and advice to the sales and project engineering teams in executing all contractual and customer requirements in line with Ausreo business strategies and policies.
* Develop and maintain close working relationships with Sales, Scheduling and ADDA personnel in execution of overall marketing strategies for Queensland.
Qualifications
* Sound understanding of the reinforcing steel or concrete industry highly preferred.
* Civil and/or Structural Engineering tertiary qualification or a tertiary qualification in Business Management with extensive experience in managing building and construction projects.
* Project Management or Project Engineering qualification highly regarded.
* Experience in Structural Engineering and Construction methodologies with a working knowledge across various project types, including managing major projects on site.
* Significant consultative selling and business development experience gained in building and construction industries.
* Exceptional commercial, analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
* In‐depth understanding of the use of appropriate systems, software, tools and technologies to design, detail and model steel reinforcing solutions for complex projects.
