About the Role
Step into the exciting world of Diageo as a Customer Marketing Manager within our Commercial Excellence Team. In this role, you will drive category growth, design innovative marketing programs and collaborate across all channels – from bars and retail stores to online platforms. You will report directly to the Head of Commercial Excellence Glass & Digital, focusing on customer‑led activities that align with our key strategies while using data, insights and creative ideas to influence shopper behavior.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of our point‑of‑purchase vision across on‑trade and off‑trade channels.
* Partner with Category Transformation Managers to create in‑store solutions that remove barriers to category growth.
* Identify and adapt global shopper and customer marketing activities to meet local objectives, producing 365 Essentials and Perfect Outlets plans in line with our Commercial Trade Strategy.
* Design and oversee customer‑marketing programs from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery for specific channels.
* Set benchmarks and drive measurement efforts to assess impact on consumer behavior and market share growth.
* Present innovative sub‑category initiatives during key engagements and stay externally curious about best practices in customer marketing.
* Harness data and insights, using analytics to inform decisions and continuously improve marketing drivers.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of FMCG experience in commercial roles such as account management, shopper marketing or category management, preferably within the liquor industry.
* Proven track record of translating insights into action and driving growth through collaboration with customers and internal partners.
* Strong experience working directly with customers or suppliers to deliver triple‑win outcomes.
* Excellent business‑partnering skills, with the ability to influence flexibly across teams.
* Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, thriving in ambiguous, complex, and fast‑paced environments.
