Senior Accountant

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, including payroll processing, end-of-month reporting, budgeting, and financial compliance and financial year end audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end reporting, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Support internal financial audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management.
- Support process improvements and system automation where possible.
- Work collaboratively with our team to resolve any discrepancies.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA qualification preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, experience within the NDIS sector an added advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of SCHADS Award, payroll systems, and accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar).
- Proven experience with end-of-month reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
