Responsibilities
Support Australia's defence mission
Demonstrate leadership in a face-paced environment
Flexible work opportunities and a supportive culture
Act as the initial POC for all information related to the assigned class. This includes, but not limited to maintaining a holistic view of the Class capability, scheduled activities, operations, maintenance, engineering, supply, issues, risks and requirements.
Provide leadership and direction to the in-region team.
Work with other team leads, senior managers, and discipline/functional leads regarding overall resource availability and competency to deliver outcomes most effectively and efficiently.
Lead the Class to deliver against the performance to technical, cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
Support the financial management of the class.
Drive the management and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule for all Class related activities.
Identify and manage Class risks, issues, and continuous improvement (e.g. to the availability, supportability, capability and affordability, providing mitigation strategies for pursuit and recommended actions to mitigate and maximise safe and effective Class operation).
Skills, Experience And Qualifications
In a collaborative enterprise environment.
In Sustainment and Capability Life Cycle Management Programs/Asset Management framework.
Implementing or managing asset management standards managing diverse teams.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (including briefing papers, presentations, and reports).
A tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in a technical discipline.
Experience in project management methodologies, including scope, schedule and risk management, proposal development, financial and commercial aspects.
Previous experience in naval sustainment programs (highly desirable).
Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security clearance as needed. Eligibility can be found at agsva
