We are a leading local provider of Support at Home, Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Restorative Care Pathway (RCP) services, delivering high‐quality, person‐centred care that enables older people to live independently, safely and with dignity.

Our clinical and care teams deliver a wide range of in‐home and community‐based supports, underpinned by strong local knowledge, genuine relationships and a deep commitment to quality. At the heart of this work are our care teams who are kind, compassionate and dedicated to supporting our aged care clients to live happy, healthy and meaningful lives. Alongside aged care, BCR Communities also delivers youth, community and disability services across the Bay & Basin region, home to our Activities Hub, Community Centre and Community Radio Station.

The Opportunity

Lead the future of aged care in a community that puts people first. With the upcoming retirement of our current Executive Manager Aged Care Services, we are seeking an experienced, values‐driven and forward‐thinking leader to join our Executive Team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Manager Aged Care Services will provide strategic and operational leadership across our aged care services, driving financially sustainable growth while ensuring the delivery of safe, high‐quality, compliant and person‐centred services.

You will lead multidisciplinary aged care and scheduling teams, and while these teams are experienced and highly capable, the role will also involve coaching, mentoring and capability‐building to support continuous improvement and readiness for ongoing sector reform.

You value developing people as much as systems and outcomes, and enjoy empowering experienced teams through guidance, coaching and leadership support to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide executive leadership across all aged care services, ensuring quality, safety, compliance and sustainability
* Lead, support and mentor aged care and scheduling teams to deliver high‐quality client outcomes
* Drive operational performance, financial sustainability and service growth
* Maintain oversight of governance, compliance and risk management, including DOHDA and ACQSC requirements
* Ensure strong clinical governance and continuous quality improvement frameworks
* Contribute to strategic planning and organisational growth initiatives
* Actively participate in Audit & Risk, Care & Clinical Governance Sub‐Committees and the Quality Care Advisory Body

About Your Experience

Step into a pivotal executive role at a time of major opportunity and sector reform. To be successful in this role, you will have:

* A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a senior or executive aged care leadership role
* Clinical qualifications in Nursing or Allied Health, with current AHPRA registration
* Demonstrated experience leading high‐quality, compliant aged care services
* Strong knowledge of aged care governance, risk management and clinical compliance
* Proven ability to meet operational and financial objectives, including budget management
* Highly developed communication, relationship‐building and stakeholder engagement skills
* Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop experienced teams through change
* The ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
