Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits Glenside SA, 5065 Full Time, Permanent Role About the Role As a Mental Health Enrolled Nurse (MHEN), you will play a key role in delivering person-centred mental health care within a supportive, multidisciplinary team. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to consumers, contributing to their recovery and wellbeing. Your role involves delivering care aligned with the National Mental Health Policy, the National Standards, and the values of SA Health, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. In this position, you will support consumers through a variety of care activities including education, counselling, and group work, all aimed at promoting optimal mental health and recovery. You will also collaborate with other health professionals, community organisations and support networks to ensure a holistic approach to care. About You You are a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Enrolled Nurse with a strong commitment to delivering person-centred, recovery-oriented care. Your clinical skills, collaborative approach and understanding of mental health frameworks enable you to provide high-quality support to consumers while working effectively within a multidisciplinary team. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with enrolment in or completion of an approved mental health qualification. Proven clinical competence in mental health nursing, with skills in assessment, care planning, evaluation, and therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication, teamwork and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with consumers, carers, and service providers. Sound knowledge of mental health legislation, the recovery framework, national mental health strategies, medication management, and community support services.
