Overview
ALLFENIX is seeking a passionate and experienced Swimwear and Activewear Designer to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will drive the creative vision for our global activewear and swimwear collections, and other categories.
Responsibilities
1. Design & Development: Create seasonal and core collections from concept to product, working closely with garment techs to execute product designs.
2. Wholesale Relations: Collaborate with key wholesale partners to develop custom ranges and align designs with market trends. Must be confident to present ranges.
3. Supplier & Production Management: Work with suppliers to ensure designs are executed with precision. Ensure accuracy of design notes and tech packs.
4. Creative & Technical Skills: Utilize your expertise in graphic and textile design, as well as your knowledge of garment construction and fabrics.
5. Project Management: Proactively manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery within a fast-paced team environment.
What We're Looking For
6. Proven 3+ years design experience in apparel. Experience in activewear or swimwear is highly regarded.
7. Strong technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
8. An eye for detail and ability to interpret trends into commercial designs.
9. A proactive, collaborative team player who thrives on meeting tight deadlines.
10. Strong interpersonal and relationship skills to work across departments, with suppliers and buyers.
