Job Description

The Project
The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.
Key accountabilities for the position
* Run Pre-starts & tool box talks to communicate construction activities effectively to site based teams
* Safety Management and maintaining safe systems and processes for everyone on site
* Environmental Management
* Quality Management
* Be responsible for the efficient deployment of labour, plant and other resources to the area or areas of the project allocated
* Be responsible for all works being planned and executed in a manner that meets or exceeds budget expectations
* Maintain 2 week look ahead's and provide input to further planning and programming
* Proactively support, guide and develop direct reports actively
* Follow the approved construction sequences and methods prescribed in the approved Work-packs
* Exhibit behaviours to foster a professional culture of integrity, respect and inclusivity in line with our Alliance & company values
Required Skills and Competencies
* You will have considerable experience working on civil infrastructure projects as a supervisor ideally with an extensive track record of delivering civils, earthworks packages
* Highly effective communication skills with an ability to problem solve, collaborate and influence
* Extensive experience in project management, reporting, program and planning, commercial acumen, and digital savvy
* Current Drivers Licence, health and safety certification, white card
