Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on an iconic local project, upgrading the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities.
The scope of this project includes upgrading the facility's sludge treatment processing system, enabling the recovery of biosolids for agricultural use and utilizing biogas as a source of energy.
Key Responsibilities
* Read and interpret diagrams, drawings or specifications to set up job requirements.
* Ability to understand and follow Permit To Work/Isolation procedures.
* Replace electrical and electronic components as required.
* Install electrical and electronic control systems and insulated cables.
* Assemble and fabricate electrical/electronic components and equipment.
* Execute work in line with quality procedures and safety requirements.
* Connect electrical equipment to power supplies.
* Splice and terminate electrical conductors.
* Assemble and install conduits, cable ladder and other electrical conductor enclosures.
* Complete electrical appliance and portable equipment testing and tagging.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Educated to year 10 level
2. Hold a current Electrical Licence WA
3. Construction White/Blue Card
4. UETTDRRF06B - Perform rescue from a live LV panel
5. HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
6. High Risk licence
