Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer for a full-time position. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures, integrating data from various sources, and optimizing data pipelines to ensure efficient and accurate data processing.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement data architectures, including databases and processing systems
* Integrate data from various sources and ensure data quality and reliability
* Optimize data pipelines for scalability and performance
* Develop and maintain ETL processes and data transformation solutions
* Apply data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
* Create and maintain documentation related to data systems design and maintenance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide effective data solutions
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
* Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Java
* Experience with ETL processes and data integration
* Working knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
* Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
