We are currently seeking a motivated Apprentice Fitter & Turner to join our team based in our Kilsyth warehouse. We welcome applications from new apprentices as well as those in 2nd or 3rd year, offering a great opportunity to start or continue your trade in a hands-on, supportive workshop environment.
About the Role
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will be involved in a range of machining and fitting tasks, with a strong focus on precision and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with machining components using CNC machines
* Operate and learn manual mill and lathe equipment
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications - dependent on experience
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment
* Support general workshop duties as required
About You
* Currently undertaking or looking to commence a Fitter & Turner apprenticeship
* Strong interest in CNC machining, milling, and turning
* Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Commitment to complete apprenticeship program with duration varying by individual progress
