Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Test Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test strategies and plans based on project requirements.
As a key member of our team, you will lead test execution and defect management, implement and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, and Rest Assured, and contribute to creating solutions and approaches for proposals on quality assurance for our customers.
The ideal candidate will have strong capabilities in devising and implementing data testing strategies and solutions, with exposure to the latest trends in quality engineering space, such as RPA, analytics-driven testing, and usage of AI/ML in QA.
* Understand big data technologies and requirements (Hadoop, Hive QL, etc.)
* Prepare test strategies and approaches for large-scale migration projects to Azure cloud
* Work and interact with project teams to understand requirements and arrive at estimations and staffing plans
* Drive project status meetings and highlight and raise project risks and issues in stakeholders' meetings
* Prepare test cases and SQL scripts for data testing
* Automation strategy – preparation and execution
* Test execution and result reporting
* Lead and manage offshore and onsite teams for data migration projects
* Expertise in data migration testing and ETL testing techniques
* Experience in managing test scenarios and requirement gathering processes, as well as estimating for the same
* Familiarity with data quality assessment and KPI tracking
* Hands-on experience with database technologies such as DB2, Oracle, and MS SQL for enterprise applications
* Proficiency in scheduling tools like Control-M, ESP
* Prior experience with data testing tools like Informatica, etc.
* Proficiency in stakeholder and program management
