Role Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Senior Partnerships Manager to lead digital revenue growth, event partnership sales, and strategic collaborations for Mumbrella Media. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this pivotal role balances high-value relationship management with proactive business development, crafting innovative solutions and aligning commercial strategies with market opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in digital advertising across platforms including e-newsletters, solus EDMs, and websites, with the ability to create bespoke, client-responsive solutions that directly address sponsor marketing challenges. They will also possess foresight to anticipate industry trends, balancing commercial priorities while solidifying Mumbrella Media's reputation as a market leader.
Additionally, the Senior Partnerships Manager will drive sponsorship targets for flagship events within Mumbrella Media's portfolio, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and fostering innovative partnerships that reinforce industry leadership.
-Lead digital and event sponsorship initiatives, securing high-value partnerships to enhance Mumbrella Media's market position and revenue growth.
-Drive new business development for Mumbrella Media events, proactively engaging and converting key prospects into long-term commercial partners.
-Develop and nurture strategic alliances, managing high-value client portfolios to strengthen relationships and maximize commercial potential.
-Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director, crafting compelling sponsorship packages and securing top-tier partnerships that align with business goals.
-Optimize trade advertising, events, and sponsorship opportunities, ensuring market-responsive solutions that boost revenue and industry leadership.
-Define market segments and growth strategies, leveraging deep industry insights to shape commercial models and drive future opportunities.
-Craft bespoke solutions, anticipating evolving market needs while balancing commercial priorities to maintain Mumbrella Media's competitive positioning.
-Oversee key client relationships, ensuring strong partnerships that deliver impactful short- and long-term commercial success.
-Manage high-value negotiations, securing partnerships that reinforce Mumbrella Media's leadership across digital, events, and media platforms.
-Ensure KPIs are met, consistently exceeding revenue targets while identifying new sales channels and business opportunities for sustained commercial expansion.
Requirements:
* Existing relationships within the media, marketing, advertising, or publishing industries, providing access to key decision-makers and commercial opportunities.
* Proven track record in B2B commercial development and experience selling multi-tiered sponsorship packages, digital advertising solutions, and event partnerships.
* Minimum of five or more years' experience in a new business development or similar commercial role
* Exposure to international markets and cross-border sales, with the ability to scale commercial strategies globally.
* Strong understanding of the media and marketing ecosystem
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently when required.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Ability to travel as required (domestically).
* CRM proficiency (e.g. HubSpot) and experience using sales automation tools.
