About the role
Priceline Pharmacy Gisborne is seeking a passionate and dedicated Dispensary Technician or Intern Pharmacist to join our team in Gisborne, VIC. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a community pharmacy setting, providing high-quality healthcare to our patients.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting the pharmacist with the dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
* Providing professional advice and guidance to patients on the use of their medications
* Participating in the management of the pharmacy's inventory and stock control
* Collaborating with the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional customer service
* Continuously updating your knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care
* Adhering to all relevant legislation, regulations and pharmacy policies
What we're looking for
* Dispensing and checking prescriptions accurately and efficiently
* Processing and managing prescription claims and patient records
* Receiving, storing, and managing medication stock
* Filling DAAs in line with pharmacy procedures
* Supporting a positive experience for patients at the dispensary counter
* Relevant pharmacy dispensary experience is essential
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for patient care
Additional requirements for intern pharmacist applicants
* Completion of a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
* Eligibility for provisional registration as a pharmacist in Australia
