About the role
This role presents a unique opportunity to work in one of our high-profile, prestigious sites. As a Security Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the operational delivery of security services, leading a team of officers, and ensuring that the security standards and client expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide effective leadership and support to a team of security officers.
* Monitor and coordinate all aspects of the day-to-day security operations.
* Ensure all procedures and protocols are followed in line with MSS Security and client expectations.
* Serve as the first point of contact for incident response and reporting.
* Leading by example you will foster a culture of professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement.
* Liaise professionally with Parliament House staff, stakeholders, and visitors.
* Provide a high level of customer service.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Prior experience in a security role, preferably in a high-profile or government environment.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, drive and mentor team members.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
* A professional approach and high standards of personal presentation.
Requirements:
* Full Australian working rights.
* Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations.
* Valid Tasmanian Security licence(control room subcategory is highly desirable or willing to obtain).
* Valid First Aid and CPR certificates.
* Working With Vulnerable People (or willing to obtain).
