Cassia Freo is a vibrant, fast-growing Modern Australian restaurant in the heart of Fremantle. Known for great food, quality drinks, and memorable guest experiences, we're looking for an Assistant Venue Manager / Bar Manager to help lead our front-of-house and bar operations.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role combining venue support with bar leadership. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you'll help oversee daily operations while taking ownership of the bar's service standards, team training, and overall guest experience.
It's ideal for someone ready to step up, who enjoys both people leadership and running a high-quality bar program.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Venue Manager with daily venue operations
* Lead and manage the bar team while supporting FOH leadership
* Deliver exceptional guest experiences across service and bar
* Assist with staff rostering, training, and performance management
* Oversee bar operations including stock control, ordering, and bar preparation.
* Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and compliance
* Manage opening and closing procedures
* Handle customer feedback professionally and confidently
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role (bar or venue)
* Strong bar knowledge with leadership capability
* Positive, energetic, team-first attitude
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Passion for hospitality, service, and guest experience
* Available for evenings and weekend shifts
