At Rinnai Australia, we are a market leader in hot water, heating, cooling and renewable energy solutions across residential and commercial markets in Australia.
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail‐oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team on a full‐time, 12‐month contract, with strong potential for extension or permanency for the right candidate.
About the Role
As part of our Accounts Receivable team, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts and supporting positive cash flow outcomes while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and manage overdue customer accounts to ensure timely payment collection
* Ensure debtor credit terms and limits are maintained in line with company policies
* Perform debtor reconciliations and assist with credit reporting activities
* Respond to and resolve customer account enquiries efficiently
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment disputes and account issues
About You
You are proactive, organised, and enjoy working in a fast‐paced environment. You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in finance and accounting.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, credit control, or a similar finance role
* Sound understanding of accounting and finance principles
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge of risk management and credit processes
* A motivated, self‐driven approach with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a customer‐focused mindset
* Qualification or ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting or a related field will be highly regarded
