About the role:
You’ll be responsible for operating HDD rigs safely and efficiently, delivering high quality drilling outcomes on projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate HDD rigs for pilot bores, reaming and product installation.
- Read and interpret bore plans and site drawings.
- Locate and work safely around existing services
- Maintain drilling equipment and tools
- Ensure compliance with WHS and environmental requirements
- Work closely with offsiders, supervisors and project managers
- Complete required paperwork and daily reports
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Horizontal Directional Driller (essential)
- Strong understanding of HDD techniques, tooling, and ground conditions
- Valid HR licence or higher (preferred)
- White card (essential)
- Ability to locate and identify underground services
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work away, nights, or weekends as required
- Team-focused with a solid work ethic
-Excavator Ticket, Implement traffic management plans, Traffic control,
Desirable (but not essential)
-Experience in all areas of Horizontal Directional Drilling
- First Aid
