About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused professional to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. This key role supports the daily operations of the store, including providing excellent customer service, managing stock, and maintaining store presentation.
This position plays a crucial part in delivering on the mission and values of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional customer experience and provide assistance across all store areas.
* Support marketing and promotional activities within the store.
* Assist with processing donations and ensure merchandise is accurately priced and well-stocked on the sales floor.
* Carry out store opening and closing duties as required.
* Follow established procedures for secure cash handling and banking.
* Provide coaching, guidance, and supervision to colleagues when needed.
* Maintain visual merchandising standards in line with organizational guidelines.
* Keep the store clean, tidy, and organized by supporting general housekeeping tasks.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team.
* Experience in supervising or guiding others in a retail setting (highly regarded).
* A reasonable level of physical fitness to perform manual tasks.
* Completion of mandatory training modules including Code of Conduct, WHS, and Bullying & Harassment.
* Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
