*The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse (Renal Home Therapies) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide experience in Renal nursing and advanced holistic care to home dialysis therapy patients
Attend occupational therapist/ Nurse Pre-dialysis home assessments
Maintain advanced clinical skills to facilitate the ongoing management of home therapy patients
Communicate and collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary team
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $ $ 58.30 per hour.
About Us
The Renal Home Therapies unit is located at the Southport Health precinct. The aim of the unit is to provide a training and support program for patients to transition to home haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. This is achieved with skilled staff, patient and family philosophy, patient-focused care, encouraging patient participation and involvement with our multidisciplinary team.
Gold Coast Renal Services operate within the boundaries from Ormeau to the Coolangatta and Tweed Heads border. This position provides holistic clinical assessments and dialysis access support for the Renal Home Therapies patients out in the community setting, working collaboratively with the Nephrologists and the Renal Home Therapies nursing team.
