As part of Adelaide University's College of Business and Law, the School of Management is a research-led, industry-connected school focused on leadership, organisational performance and future workforce capability. Its research addresses high‐impact themes including organisational productivity, workplace excellence, strategic management, sustainability, human resource management, procurement and supply chain management, tourism, events and hospitality management, digital business, sport management, and entrepreneurship.
With vision and ambition, the Dean will lead a School of over 100 staff and 3500 students to unify under a shared mission and strategy while developing opportunities for interaction between the University, the business world and the broader community. The Dean will engage academic colleagues, business partners and students to realise opportunities for innovation, differentiation and excellence.
This role offers an unrivalled opportunity for an established academic leader with proven leadership in a complex environment to lead a rapidly growing School. Candidates will bring strong academic credentials, proven leadership in complex environments, and a record of engaging with industry, government and the international higher education community. With delegated powers for resource management and academic performance, candidates will demonstrate the intellectual, strategic and operational leadership qualities to engage colleagues, students and stakeholders in shaping a long‐term strategy that positions the School as a hub of thought leadership and academic excellence.
