Your new role
We are going through an exciting period of growth here at SV Partners with multiple opportunities available across the firm nationally.
Our Melbourne office is currently looking for a senior analyst (insolvency accountant). This is a dynamic and challenging role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a broad range of corporate and personal insolvency matters, reporting directly to your manager. As a senior analyst, you will assist your manager and director in the training and guidance of the junior analysts within the team.
What you will bring to the role:
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Law or similar
* Minimum 2 years' experience across personal and corporate insolvency
* A high level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
* Proven time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Motivation to develop your people management skills ahead of you moving into a supervisor role
* Possess an in-depth knowledge of the Corporations Act, Bankruptcy Act and relevant insolvency law
* Currently studying or looking to commence CA/CPA
