Mining Skills Australia (MSA) is seeking versatile and motivated individuals to join our team in a dual role of Traffic Control Operators and Security Officers. MSA is a progressive and innovative training and resource development company based in Brisbane, offering a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Role
We are currently recruiting proactive and adaptable operators to support projects across the Bowen Basin, operating on a DIDO basis from Mackay, Rockhampton, Yeppoon and surrounding local areas, with FIFO opportunities available from Brisbane.
Strong literacy and computer skills are essential, as the onboarding process and site operating procedures are comprehensive and compliance‐driven. This role also requires patience and a friendly, professional approach, as you will be responsible for managing site access and interacting with a high volume of personnel on a daily basis. Prior mining experience is not essential, as full training is provided.
Mandatory Qualifications
* Tier 1 Traffic Control Ticket (also known as Stop Go Bat)
* Certificate II in Security Operations
* Coal Board Medical
* Drug and Alcohol Testing Course Certificate HLTPAT005
* First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Standard 11
* Drivers Licence
