Job Overview
The Modern Slavery Risk Management professional plays a critical role in embedding risk management into investment and procurement processes, ensuring alignment with the organization's responsible investment strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and Implement Frameworks: Lead the implementation and ongoing management of modern slavery risk management frameworks across the fund's investment and procurement processes.
* Ensure Compliance: Guarantee compliance with relevant legislation, including the Commonwealth Modern Slavery Act 2018.
* Drive Initiatives: Drive key initiatives across governance, risk assessment, due diligence, and reporting to mitigate and address modern slavery risks.
* Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments and due diligence across the investment portfolio and supply chain.
* Engage Stakeholders: Engage with investment managers, investee companies, and suppliers to address identified risks and implement corrective actions.
About You
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in responsible investment, human rights, or risk management, preferably with direct experience in developing and implementing modern slavery risk management frameworks.
* Skills: Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks, as well as expertise in modern slavery supply chain risk analysis and data management tools.
* Qualifications: A proven track record in mitigating and addressing modern slavery risk in institutional investment portfolios.
