Planning & Reliability Engineer – Cape Byron Power (Northern NSW)
We're looking for a Planning & Reliability Engineer to join our Cape Byron site team, supporting safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our power generation assets.
This role sits at the heart of plant performance — combining hands-on engineering, maintenance planning, and reliability improvement. You'll work closely with Mechanical and E&IC teams to drive better maintenance strategies, improve CMMS data integrity, support shutdown planning, and deliver practical reliability improvements across site.
What you'll do:
* Develop and improve maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, corrective)
* Lead RCA investigations and implement reliability improvements
* Own and enhance CMMS and maintenance planning processes
* Support shutdowns, outages, and capital works delivery
* Manage spares, inventory, and maintenance scheduling
* Drive continuous improvement in plant performance and asset health
About you:
* Mechanical Engineering degree (essential)
* Experience in maintenance, reliability, or planning roles
* Power generation or heavy industry background highly regarded
* Strong RCA, planning, and problem-solving skills
* Essential experience in major plant shutdown planning and execution
* Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
* Permanent Australian residency required
