What you'll be doing in this role?
As a Clinical Educator, you will provide evidence-based education, mentorship, and leadership to nurses within the Community Nursing team. You'll support graduate nurses and students, coordinate education programs, and ensure our community nursing services are delivered to the highest clinical standards.
Your work will include:
* Provide clinical supervision, consultation and education for nurses and students
* Coordinate education programs and student placements within the team
* Support graduates to develop clinical, documentation and time management skills
* Ensure nursing practices align with current evidence-based standards
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build strong educational partnerships
What you'll need:
* Bachelor of Nursing
* Current AHPRA registration
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence
* Current Working with Children's Check (Employee)
* Fit2Work Police Clearance
What we're looking for:
* Over 5 years of clinical experience in relevant field.
* Experience in providing supervision and mentoring in a team environment
* Demonstrated experience providing feedback to co-workers in a constructive manner
* Ability to deliver effective and diverse multimodal training to staff
* Understanding of the role of clinical governance
* Experience in a previous educational role
* A positive 'can do' attitude
* Certificate IV or post graduate qualification in a relevant field (desirable)
