About Job
We're currently looking for motivated, qualified individuals to join our growing team:
* Carpenters
* Roof Carpenters
These roles involve working on varied and rewarding projects under the guidance of an experienced management team. A positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail are key.
Bricklayers Responsibilities
* Lay bricks, blocks, and stone to construct or repair walls, arches, partitions, and paved areas
* Interpret technical plans and specifications to guide work
* Perform structural repairs and restoration as required
* Apply mortar and moisture-resistant coatings, and prepare sublayers for block placement
* Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently
* Install interlocking pavers and construct surface finishes
* Build and dismantle low-level scaffolds within safety limits
Tilers Responsibilities
* Interpret plans and drawings to layout precise tile arrangements
* Prepare surfaces (remove old tiles, grout, adhesives; repair cracks/holes)
* Install wall and floor tiles (ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, natural stone, etc.)
* Perform cutting, shaping, and fitting around edges, fixtures, and pipes
* Apply adhesives, waterproofing systems, grout, and silicone as required
* Conduct regrouting, resealing, and waterproofing of leaking areas
* Construct decorative tile patterns and mosaics where required
* Carry out both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
* Tasks include:
o Stud framing and roof framing
o Formwork
o Installation of wall frames, ceilings, skirtings
o Installation and repair of doors, windows, stairs, decks, patios, and landings
o General carpentry and joinery: measuring, cutting, shaping, and fitting materials
o Inspect and replace damaged framework or fixtures
* Interpret and follow construction plans and drawings
Roof Carpenters Responsibilities
* Measure, cut, and install roof trusses, rafters, battens, and beams
* Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings
* Assemble and install both timber and metal roof structures
* Fit and secure roofing materials
* Inspect and assess roofs for repairs or replacement
* Collaborate with team members to overcome onsite challenges
* Follow all health and safety regulations
