Principal Assurance Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Assurance Officer to join our Assurance and Advisory Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing independent professional advice to the Audit and Risk Committee and executive management.
Your primary responsibility will be to review and critically assess the risk management framework for identifying monitoring and managing significant business risks.
You will also provide value-adding recommendations that strengthen the organisation's internal control framework and reform business processes.
Maintaining knowledge and understanding of relevant professional standards and issues of relevance to the organisation is essential.
You will assist in the development of staff by providing advice and supervision and ensuring quality assurance over the work performed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A relevant degree qualification or accreditation with an auditing health management or business process improvement body would be well regarded.
* Assurance audit health services management consulting or advisory experience would be highly valued.
* Prior experience in a risk management business process improvement or audit role would also be beneficial.
